VERNON, NJ July 6)……..With brother Brett Hearn’s Teo Pro Car dirt track Modified on the cover, the July 2012 issue of Speedway Illustrated magazine feature article is an in-depth look at the annual Teo Fabrications “Get Smart, Get Quick” Advance Chassis Seminar. Titled “Prep School,” the seven-page article by veteran writer/photographer Bruce Bennett delves into the topics covered during the full day racing seminar.
With all-time winning dirt track Modified driver Brett Hearn leading the discussion, and backed up by his car builder brother and Teo Fabrications owner Bobby Hearn, Bobby’s son Matt, tire expert Jay Castimore, shock ace Joe Knoth, and other industry representatives, attendees get a major course in race car maintenance, setup, and tips on winning.
Bennett’s article is a well-organized synopsis of the seminar, with a host of information that can be applied to any Northeastern-type Modified race car.
“We’re proud of how popular our seminar has become,” said Teo Fabrications proprietor Bobby Hearn. “The fact that Speedway Illustrated has made it their cover feature article only adds to our goal of helping all racers be successful.”
Hearn’s “Get Smart, Get Quick” seminars are held annually during the winter off-season, usually after the February Florida short track races. “With each seminar, we’ve learned a great deal about what the racers really want to know. This has helped us put together even more informative and productive days,” says Hearn.
