THE BIG SHOW 12 – POSTPONED UNTIL 2021
ALBANY-SARATOGA SPEEDWAY CLASSIC ON HIATUS
DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
SUSSEX, NJ (June 16)……..The Big Show 12, a Super DIRTcar Modified Series race meet, originally set for Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Albany-Saratoga Speedway located just north of Malta, New York has been postponed until 2021. Race organizer Brett Hearn and his Driven Marketing team reluctantly made the decision after determining they could not present the quality program that has been the hallmark of all the previous The Big Show race meets. “Our goal has always been to make it a memorable evening of high speed excitement and entertainment for both the fans and the competitors. Under the current allowed conditions, this would not be possible,” said Hearn.
The Big Show 12, for big-block DIRTcar Modifieds, will return to Albany-Saratoga Speedway in late June 2021. “We know from the phone calls and emails that our loyal fans were eager for us to stage the event, and we’re truly disappointed that we’ve had to postpone it until next year, but it just isn’t feasible right now to put on the type program we’ve worked hard to establish,” explained Hearn. “We’re sure the fans and the competitors will understand the situation we faced. So we’ll be back next year bigger and better than ever”
Brett Hearn is a champion professional race car driver with 919 race wins (914 feature races and 5 All-Star events) to his credit. He has captured 94 track and series championships. Driven Marketing is Hearn’s team that promotes special motorsports events.
